This book entitled “Political Philosophies invites the attention of readers towards the deep down layers of political philosophies in human history from the ancient times up to the modern period .The author is well aware that, in order to arouse interest in political philosophies it is essential to reanimate dead men, forgotten problems and dim ideas in such a way as to transform them into vivid and real entities to modern minds. The method adopted to achieve this and has been infused into the pages of this book most consistently by the author on the basis of his own experience. This experience was gained through experimentation in exhibiting political philosophies to groups of different kinds including college classes .The experience involved in this method recommend for useful ways to attract readers interest in the material contents of the philosophies. The author feels that only a small fraction of political classics is widely read today due to various reasons such as archaisms of style and vocabulary. Thus many of the classics have become unreadable. The author hopes that this book may contribute a better understanding and a wider appreciation of these immoral works of human genius.
